Art Bios is hosted by the company OVH, Simplified joint stock company, with registered capital of €5,000,000, incorporated in the Company and Trade Register of Roubaix-Tourcoing under the n°424 761 419, its Registered Office situated at 2 rue Kellerman, F-59100, Roubaix, France.
Any Internet user (hereinafter referred to as the “User”) can freely consult the content (hereinafter referred to as the “Content”) supplied on the website by A&F Markets (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”). Art Bios features comprehensive biographies of artists, collectors, gallerists, curators and, more generally, art market professionals. Both French and international figures are covered.
Art Bios proposes licences, allowing clients to reuse texts.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All Art Bios Content is protected world-wide by international copyright, database right and sui generis laws. All rights are owned by the Company.
All Site content is protected without limitation and may not be reproduced or reused without obtaining the prior express written agreement of the Company.
All intellectual rights remain the exclusive property of the Company.
Any non-authorised or unlawful use of the content belonging to the Company may incur civil or criminal liability according to the applicable legislation.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By accessing Art Bios to consult or use the Services, Users and Subscribers acknowledge that the Company does not guarantee the accuracy, quality or completeness of the Content published on the Site. APPLICABLE LAW AND ATTRIBUTION OF JURIDICTION
The Terms and Conditions set forth herein are subject to French law.
In the event of dispute, both parties agree to work towards a mutual and amicable solution. Should the dispute concerning the Terms and Conditions continue, sole competence is given to the French courts.
